Senior Pastor

Pastor Rod Walker is the Senior Pastor of Harmony Church, and is passionate about seeing God's people fulfill the Great Commission.

Rod first stepped through Harmony's doors in November of 1994 with his wife, Kelley, and two (now grown) children, Matt and Beth. In 1995, he and Kelley became baptized members of Harmony, and started serving God's people where they were able. Pastor Rod worked for Monarch Press for 25 years, but in 2003, he felt the call of God on his life to leave Monarch and step into Ministry. Since then, he has faithfully led and cared for God's people, not only within Harmony's four walls, but within the city of Jackson itself.

Associate Pastor

Pastor Jim Tennant is the Associate Pastor at Harmony Church, but also holds a professional IT role as his “day job”. At first glance, it seems that these jobs would be at odds with each other, but they actually work together well; they require listening, problem-solving, and showing up for people when needed.

That’s what Jim is passionate about; seeing Jesus change lives. Finding Jesus matters, but it’s not the end of the story. Jim’s heart is to see Harmony Church be a place where real, authentic relationships happen and faith in Christ actually changes lives. Theology is important, but it’s meant to be lived, not just taught.

Jim and his wife, Beth, have three kids, Serenity, Everly, and Cameron. He’d love to connect with you and get to know the “real you”!
